We are delighted to be partnering with Robert Owen to provide a holiday club for the children attending Robert Owen Nursery School.  We have been operating holiday provision and wraparound care in the local community for 11 years, based at Halstow Primary School, and our aim is to ensure all the children in our care are happy, safe, stimulated and welcomed.  At our latest Ofsted inspection in February 2024, the inspector noted that ‘Relationships between staff and children are exceptionally warm and caring’.

Monday 7 to Friday 11 April 8am to 3.30pm

 We will be operating a holiday club in conjunction with Robert Owen in Magnolia classroom during the first week of the Easter break: Monday 7 to Friday 11 April 8am to 3.30pm.  We will provide breakfast in the morning (cereals, toast, fruit) and ask that your child brings a packed lunch. We will also provide a healthy snack of fresh fruit and vegetables in the afternoon.  We will follow the structure of the Robert Owen day with in and out free play, story time, and fun and engaging activities for the children including cooking, dancing, water play if it is warm enough, as well as Spring-themed activities such as decorating eggs, noticing new flowers and leaves growing outside and making a bug hotel.  

The cost for the day will remain the same:

 

8am to 9am with breakfast	£8.50
9am to 11.30am	£22
11.30am to 12.30pm	£8.50
12.30pm to 3.30pm	£26
Full day 8am to 3.30pm	£65

We know very well that the quality of care of your children is paramount.  It is likely that the supervising staff will be a mixture of The Holly Tree Club experienced team and Robert Owen staff.

 About me

 My background is in teaching at primary and secondary schools in London, and before that I worked in banking.  I have long been a fan of Robert Owen and my 3 children all attended the nursery until they started school. I was a parent governor then a co-opted governor at Robert Owen until I started The Holly Tree Club in 2013.
