Holiday Club

Holiday clubs 2024-25

We always run our holiday clubs at the same time each year so parents can plan ahead.  We don’t run during all of the school holidays as we like to keep the club ‘fresh’ and exciting for the children.  Here are our dates for the upcoming school year:

October half term: Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November 2024 8am to 6pm

NEXT ONE! Easter: Monday 7 to Friday 11 April 2025 8am to 6pm

Summer: Monday 18 August to Tuesday 2 September 2025 8am to 6pm

Here is where we went in October:

We welcome children from lots of different primary schools in Greenwich, Lewisham and Bromley and it is lovely to see new friendships develop and flourish as many of the same children come back each time!

At our holiday club, we try to offer as varied an experience as possible by going to different places each day; including: Greenwich Park, the ‘beach’ by Greenwich Pier at low tide, National Maritime Museum, Thames Barrier, Ladywell Fields, Charlton Park, Oxleas Woods, Mudchute Farm, Surrey Quays Farm, Tumbling Bay playground in the Olympic Park and many others.  We have lunch out and about. By returning to The Bell House each day at 2pm/3pm, we can provide some ‘downtime’; an opportunity for children to play sport, relax, dress up, do arts and crafts and engage in imaginative play. As one parent put it, ‘You offer the type of activities I would do with my child if I were not working!’

Once we’ve returned from our trip, the children sit down for a snack provided by the club comprising crackers, fresh fruit and vegetables, raisins and water.

We only employ highly experienced and qualified managers and playworkers and we always have at least one member of staff trained in Paediatric First Aid on site.

Parent feedback includes:

‘I think the holiday club is great value for money considering the amount of individual attention and interaction the children get, as well as the snacks!’
‘The children have been at a couple of out of school clubs and enjoy this one by far the most’

We have a lovely website and like to send you regular newsletters letting you know about the wonderful activities your children enjoy doing at club. We enjoy celebrating the fun and play and hope you do too!
