We had an amazing summer holiday club this year! We all loved the bubbles because everyone got to know each other really well, fantastic new friendships flourished and we were able to give each child lots of individual care and attention.

We welcome children from lots of different primary schools in Greenwich, Lewisham and Bromley and it is lovely to see new friendships develop and flourish as many of the same children come back each time!
At our holiday club, we try to offer as varied an experience as possible by going to different places each day; including: Greenwich Park, the ‘beach’ by Greenwich Pier at low tide, National Maritime Museum, Thames Barrier, Ladywell Fields, Charlton Park, Oxleas Woods, Mudchute Farm, Surrey Quays Farm, Tumbling Bay playground in the Olympic Park and many others. We always have lunch out and about. By returning to The Bridge or The Bell House each day at 3pm, we can provide some ‘downtime’; an opportunity for children to play sport, relax, dress up, do arts and crafts and engage in imaginative play. As one parent put it, ‘You offer the type of activities I would do with my child if I were not working!’
Once we’ve returned from our trip, the children sit down for a snack provided by the club comprising breadsticks, rice cakes, crackers, fresh fruit and vegetables and water. At 5pm we have circle time, in which we all sit down and have a story, show and tell and talk about our day. Then there is more play time until we close at 6.30pm (core collection is 6pm. The later finish is bookable as an add-on and an earlier collection time is also available).
We only employ highly experienced and qualified managers and playworkers and we always have at least one member of staff trained in Paediatric First Aid on site.
Parent feedback includes:
‘I think the holiday club is great value for money considering the amount of individual attention and interaction the children get, as well as the snacks!’
‘The children have been at a couple of out of school clubs and enjoy this one by far the most’
We have a lovely website and like to send you regular newsletters letting you know about the wonderful activities your children enjoy doing at club. We enjoy celebrating the fun and play and hope you do too!
